This year’s United Nations Climate Change Conference is slated for Oct. 31–Nov. 12, 2021, in Glasgow, Scotland. Researchers have discovered a new method of extracting minerals from electronic waste that uses significantly less energy than current techniques, produces ecofriendly waste and can reduce the demand for mined raw materials.
