Michigan Announces New Geologic Hydrogen Exploration Initiative
As an abundant element in the universe, hydrogen has an extensive range of applications, among them its use as a carrier of clean energy in fuel cells in cars and in oil refining. With the automotive industry continuously expanding, the demand for alternative fuels like hydrogen has grown exponentially. Having recognized the opportunity this presents, the state of Michigan launched an initiative focused on exploring clean energy sources like nuclear power and natural gas at the start of this year.
