Nevada Organic Phosphate (CSE: NOP; OTCQB: NOPFF), a B.C.-based organic sedimentary phosphate exploration company, announced that heavy metal contaminant assays from the Upper Phosphatic Zone in drill hole MM26-10 at its Murdock Mountain project remain well below maximum limits cited by the company for organic fertilizer certification. MM26-10, a 1.5-kilometre step-out along strike, previously returned 10.89% P2O5 over 3.60 metres. Individual samples from the interval reported arsenic, cadmium, mercury, lead and other heavy metal concentrations below the cited “Association of American Plant Food Control Officials” (“AAPFCO”) SUIP #25 thresholds for fertilizer containing 10% P2O5. The company said the results continue to demonstrate predictable, low heavy metals content in the Upper Phosphatic Zone and support its objective of positioning the project for the organic fertilizer market.
